Brett Doster

Brett Doster - serves as the Deputy Director of the Governor's Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development. His key focus in that position is on issues related to the expansion of high-technology businesses in Florida. His latest project has been to work actively in the creation and passage of Florida Senate Bill 1844, also known as the Florida Technology Development Act, legislation that allocates 50 million dollars for the building of university-based centers of excellence for technology research.

Before joining the Governor's office in 2001, Brett served in a variety of political organizations including both of Governor Jeb Bush's political campaigns as well as the Republican Party of Florida. From 1995 to 1997, Brett was a commercial real estate broker with Price Commercial Real Estate in Tallahassee.

Brett is a graduate of The Citadel in Charleston, S.C. and is a native to the Tallahassee, Florida area.
