For the fourth consecutive year, the Industry Technology Tracks (ITT) will be part of ICASSP 2002. The Industry Technology Tracks will highlight industrial aspects and applications of signal processing, and is geared towards engineers, practitioners, and, in general, people engaged in industrial and professional activity in signal processing.

The 90 papers in this forum will cover both hardware and software issues in signal processing. The 8 scheduled sessions include: Biomedical Signal Processing; Communication Technologies; Defense, Security, Radar and Sonar Applications; DSP and Multimedia Technologies; Emerging Techniques in Speech and Intelligibility; Encryption, Watermarking, and Character Recognition Applications; Power Systems, Motor Control, and Automotive DSP Applications; Speech Recognition in Challenging Environments
